What is Bowen Therapy?

Bowen Therapy is a remedial healing technique which focuses on the body's soft-tissue structures to address musculoskeletal issues, muscular pain, injuries as well as neuro-muscular concerns.

Its calming and balancing effect on the nervous system has shown to impact stress, anxiety and depression and can have a positive impact on your overall health and well-being.

It is named after Tom Bowen, who initially started his practice in Geelong, Victoria. He developed and refined this unique manual technique throughout his lifetime. Instead of formally documenting his technique, Tom trained six students, qualified in osteopathy, remedial massage and chiropractic. These students,  later on, developed the formal training of the Bowen technique in order to carry on his legacy and gift to the world.
